The University of Adelaide gives Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to draw outstanding overseas postgraduate students to fields of research.

FIELD: Any Masters degree by Research or Doctoral Research Degree offered at the University

TARGETED AUDIENCE: International students (except New Zealand)

SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDS and FUNDING:

The financial aids cover tuition expenses, annual living stipend ($27,082 in 2018), and international student health cover.  note: if the grant holder includes a subclass 500 visa.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants are needed to have successfully finished at least the equivalent of the Australian First Class Honours degree andit is the four-year degree with a research project in a final year. Candidate should complete all courses.
On academic achievements and research potential for research, we grant the awards. We will nor consider Extra-curricular achievements.

International candidates should not hold the research qualification considered by the University of Adelaide to be equal to the Australian Research doctorate. If taking the Research Masters degree and not hold the research qualification recognized by the University of Adelaide to be equal to or higher than the Australian Research Masters degree.

 

INELIGIBLE: Overseas candidates who have not given proof of their meeting English language proficiency. The individual has completed the Pre-Enrolment English Program to meet entry requirements for the proposed program of study.

Candidates are expected to enroll in the University of Adelaide as ‘overseas students,’. They should maintain the ‘international student’ status for a duration of their registration in a University. Permanent Residents and citizen of Australia, and New Zealand are ineligible.
