Bilateral Exchange Scholarships
At least 14 days (for stays from the candidates from the EU countries also from the Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Ukraine: minimum seven days up to the maximum of 3 months. The selection committee selects the duration of the grants. Its duration depends on a project in an applicant’s work schedule and question. The Bilateral Exchange Scholarships grant is non-renewable.
To promote international relationships and bilateral research agreements between foreign universities and German, the DAAD promotes the exchanges of academic and scientists from the partner countries. The application documents remain with the DAAD. The DAAD saves data relating to applicants by the Federal Data Protection Act and with the EU Data Protection Regulation insofar as this data is needed to process the application.
