Some info about CAS-DAAD SCHOLARSHIPS:
A partnership agreement on joint education and training of Ph.D. scholars has existed between the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) since 2007. Under this CAS-DAAD common programme coming and up young Chinese explorers from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) and CAS research schools new and coming students get the opportunity of research. The duration of the search program is from 12to 22 months. The best part of these awards is that you can continue your research program in Germany.
The programme is only for candidates aiming to gain a doctorate in China. Research stays at Max-Planck, or Fraunhofer institutes are not eligible for funding.
